As part of our commitment to excellence, we ensure that all our roof structures are inspected by a competent person and issued with an A-19 Engineer’s Certificate, in full compliance with the Engineering Act of South Africa.
What is an A-19 Engineer’s Certificate?
An A-19 Certificate is an official engineering compliance document that certifies a roof structure has been designed, manufactured, and installed according to the required South African National Standards (SANS 10400-L) and engineering regulations.
This certificate is a mandatory requirement for building projects to pass municipal inspections and obtain an occupancy certificate.
Our Process

1️⃣ Design & Engineering Approval – Our Professional Engineers use advanced MiTek truss design software to create fully compliant roof structures.
2️⃣ On-Site Inspection – A competent person conducts a thorough inspection after installation to verify structural integrity.
3️⃣ Issuance of A-19 Certificate – Once the roof structure meets all engineering and safety standards, the A-19 Certificate is issued.
4️⃣ Handover to Client & Municipality – The certificate is provided to the client and relevant municipal authorities as proof of compliance.
